Our Story

Human Condition Company was born from a very personal experience. 🫀

In 2018, I was diagnosed with cancer. During treatment, I wanted something to wear to my weekly infusion appointments that made me feel a little stronger — and a little more like myself.

The shirt I chose was a simple “Fuck Cancer” t-shirt.

Was it appropriate? Probably not.
But neither is cancer. 🎗️

So I wore that shirt like armor to every appointment.

One day, while walking into the infusion room, a woman across the room raised her arm and gave me a huge thumbs up. She smiled and said, “Best cancer shirt ever.”

At the time, I was going through treatment alone. But in that moment, I instantly felt less alone.

As I kept wearing it, more people started stopping by my infusion chair to ask where I got my shirt. Some laughed. Some shared their own stories. Some simply smiled.

What I thought was just a t-shirt became connection, comfort, rebellion, humor, and emotional armor all at once. 🖤

That experience stayed with me.

Human Condition Company was created for people navigating the difficult, exhausting, absurd, and sometimes darkly funny parts of being human.

Chronic illness. Burnout. Healthcare life. Anxiety. Grief. Resilience. The daily chaos of simply existing.

Sometimes humor is what helps us carry it. ☕️

These designs are made to feel relatable, cathartic, honest, and wearable. Not just clothing — but little reminders that none of us are as alone as we think we are.

Life is hard. Humor helps.
